GENERAL RULES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION AND SELECTION

All presenters are expected to be in person in Berlin, Germany. If you live outside Europe and believe you qualify for special considerations, please contact the organizers prior to abstract submission.

Previous Presentation of an Abstract – the work must not have been previously  presented at an EWOG  meeting.

All abstracts will be evaluated and scored by the Scientific Committee.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION - Deadlines: Submission possible from January 15th, 2025 until June 15th, 2025. 

Notification regarding acceptance of your abstract will be sent to the presenting author prior to July 15th, 2025.

Presentation Type *
must be in UPPER CASE and limited to 200 characters. Please submit symbols as words. The abstract title should be brief and clearly indicate the nature of the abstract
Limited to 2000 characters including acknowledgements. Text only is to be submitted. Tables, figures and bulleted text are not permitted in the abstract. Abstracts should clearly state: • Background and aims • Methods • Results • Conclusions Use generic names of drugs. The presentation must be balanced and contain no commercial promotional content. Do not use bold type or underline formatting. Italic type is acceptable. Text may be in multiple paragraphs. Numbers over 999 must include a comma, e.g., 2,000. Decimal points must be displayed as periods (4.89) not commas (4,89). All measurements must be in metric units.

ABSTRACT SUBMITTERS’ DECLARATION

  • All accepted abstracts will be published in the EJC:PO as an online supplement.
  • The Abstract Submitter confirms that she/he previewed this abstract and that all information is correct. The Abstract Submitter accepts that the content of this abstract cannot be modified or corrected after final submission and she/he is aware that it will be published as submitted.
  • Submission of the abstract constitutes the consent of all authors to publication (e.g. website of Symposium, programs, other promotions, etc.)
  • The Abstract Submitter warrants and represents that no part of the information and content provided by him/her (Hereafter: the “Content“) to EWOG MDS/SAA 2023 (Hereafter: the “Organizers“), nor the publication of any such Content by the Organizers, on the internet or otherwise infringes any third party rights, including but not limited to privacy rights and/or intellectual property rights.
  • The Abstract Submitter grants the Organizers a copyright license to reproduce, publish, translate, distribute, and display the text of the Content on a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable nonexclusive basis.
  • The Abstract Submitter herewith confirms that the contact details saved in this system are those of the presenting author, who will be notified about the status of the abstract. The presenting author is responsible for informing the other authors about the status of the abstract. The submitting author may request to be copied on abstract correspondence.
  • The Abstract Submitter understands that the presenting author must be a registered participant.
  • The Organizers reserve the right to remove from publication and/or presentation an abstract which does not comply with the above.
